Let me start by saying WOW what a show! Our students blew us away with their talent and I would like to thank everyone involved for all their hard work and support. My staff and I would like to say a huge thank you to you all for your kind words and gifts we are extremely grateful.
I am in the process of securing next year's show dates but pencil in 8th, 9th and 10th March 2024 as these are provisional at the moment.
We have a lot of exciting things coming up in the next few months and are currently in full preparation mode organising various activities/events so please keep your eyes peeled:)

Summer term begins - Monday 17th April
Half term week - Sun 28th May thru Friday 2nd June
Term finishes - Saturday 22nd July
Please note classes will run on Saturday 3rd June as well as the 27th May to make up the
sessions cancelled due to the Kings Coronation.
Monday 1 st May – May Day Bank Holiday - No classes at Ardleigh House
No refund required as this date was not included for in the direct debit payments.
Saturday 6th May - Kings Coronation - No classes at Benhurst Primary School
Alternative date scheduled.
Monday 8th May – Whitsun Bank holiday - No classes at Ardleigh House

Annual Melody Bear graduation ceremony and trophy giving. This event will take part in normal class times and further information will be sent out nearer the time. Please pop the date in your diary.
Important note about Fees
I would like to clarify our policy as detailed in our Terms and Conditions as there has been some confusion in relation to payments and cancelling of classes.
All fees are calculated on the basis that the children attend 37 weeks classes per year. These are then divided into 12 equal payments and are payable on the 1st of each month (including holidays). Therefore parents do not pay the full class fee each month.
With this in mind we ask for one month's notice from the date you inform us that you are cancelling your child's classes. Should a parent decide not to pay the following month's fees we will have no choice but to take action to recover the outstanding fees due. In some cases this may be more than the monthly payment.
Miss Chantelle
It is with great sadness that I must announce that we will be saying farewell to Miss Chantelle after the May half term. She will be going on an exciting long term travelling trip with her fiancee to South America and Australia. We are very sad to see Miss Chantelle go as she has been an incredible asset to our team. We wish her all the best for the future and hope we get the pleasure of working with her again in the future.
We will be welcoming Miss Jodie to our Saturday team and I hope you will join me in making her feel welcome. Jodie will be with us from the 13th May for a handover period.
DTA Academy Quiz Night Fundraiser 4th May 2024
One of our lovely parents is organising a quiz night to raise funds for our performance team's trip to Disney in July. Our performance teams will be performing a 20 minute show in the middle of the Disney park. If you can please come and support the quiz night event with your friends and family! Venue is Upminster Golf Club 7.30pm. Teams can be 6-8 people and it is an adult only event. You do not have to put a full team together as we can make teams on the night. Raffle Donation Appeal

Summer Events 2024
We are very excited to be launching our Summer Events programme again this year at Benhurst school. There will be four Summer camps - two for children aged 3-5 yrs and two for children aged 6 yrs and above. All details are now on our website www.dancetheatreartsacademy.co.uk/summer-events and you can book through ClassForKids.
All places are available on a first come first served basis, be quick as these spaces always sell fast:)
