14.15 - 15.00   Middle 4 & 5 Tap

Students are initially allocated a place in the class/es by age.  However, we do take each child as an individual and

they may be moved into a different level class which is more suitable for the ability.

All children are offered a TRIAL before signing up for classes.

Students learn ballet technique, build strength and poise by working through the ISTD ballet grades and have the opportunity to take ISTD and IDTA ballet examinations when their teacher feels they have reached the required standard.  New students will be allocated a class depending on their past ballet experience and not by age.  We strongly recommend that students wishing to take ISTD ballet examinations take two ballet classes each week.

Tap Dance

We follow the ISTD Tap syllabus which works on developing strong rhythm, musicality and coordination.   Students have the opportunity to take ISTD and IDTA tap examinations.  New students will be allocated a class depending on their past tap dance experience and not by age.

Jazz & Acro Dance Combination classes

This is a fun, progressive class where the children work on developing their flexibility, strength and strong technique as well as working on dance routines.  This is perfect for children who love to dance to the latest chart and pop music.  Acro Dance is a combination of the artistic qualities of dance and the athleticism of acrobatics.  Children will also cover IDTA syllabus work to develop strength and technique.  We follow the Acrobatic Arts programme.

Musical Theatre (Drama, Singing & Dance)

Musical Theatre and drama classes focus on developing key performance skills through the use of drama games, improvisation, singing technique and dance moves.  It is a great opportunity for the students to build their confidence whilst having lots of fun.

Street Dance

Is fast paced and is perfect for children who love to dance to the latest pop tunes.  They will learn new and funky moves which encourage creativity and build confidence.  They will learn routine both as an individual and in a group.
