Update from Miss Charlotte -


I hope everyone had a lovely Easter and enjoyed some special time with family. I’d like to take a moment to congratulate all our students on a fantastic show in March, it was a true celebration of talent, dedication, and teamwork! A heartfelt thank you goes out to our amazing teaching team, our wonderful volunteer chaperones, and all the parents for your ongoing support and hard work behind the scenes. We’re already busy planning some exciting upcoming events, including fete performances, exams, and our ever-popular summer camp days. Please keep an eye on your emails, as all the details will be landing in your inboxes very soon.


As we move through the term, we kindly ask parents to make a note of the remaining term dates for this year. Our 2025/26 term dates and updated class timetables are currently being finalised and will be sent out as soon as they are confirmed.


Saturday Venue Change – Please Note

We’re excited to let you know that from Saturday 26th April, all of our Saturday classes will be moving to a new permanent venue at Scotts Primary School, Bonington Road, Hornchurch, RM12 6TH. This change allows us to continue offering the best possible space and experience for our students as we grow.


Please note that this change applies to Saturdays only—our Monday and Wednesday classes will continue as usual at Ardleigh House, with no changes to those schedules.

Ahead of the move, I’ll be sending out an email with entrance details and class-specific instructions, so please keep an eye on your inbox before the 26th April.


Saturday 5th July Class cancellation - Due to the Scotts Primary school fete there will be no classes on this date I will be adding an extra Saturday next term to make up this date.


Annual Awards Ceremony - Due to the move to Scotts and their summer fete day cancelling our classes I have made the decision to postpone the Annual Awards Ceremony till the winter term.

Once I have a date for this I will send this out to parents.


Summer fetes - We have been asked to perform at Suttons and Scotts primary school fetes this year which are both on the 5th July. I am sorting out which groups will be performing and will contact those classes separately. Please note not all dance genres suit outside performances ballet and tap for example. This will be considered when choosing groups to take part.


We are thrilled to be invited to so many community events on a Saturday, we do have to limit the amount we do to ensure not too many classes are missed as we prepare for exams and to ensure students get a good balance between performance and technical training.

Working hours and contact preferences:


Please where possible contact us via email instead of text/WhatsApp for a quicker response. The emails are monitored by Charlotte and Linda so if Miss Charlotte is teaching Linda can deal with queries. WhatsApp messages aren't checked while classes are in action.


WhatsApp is fine for reporting class absences but any concerns that need to be addressed by Miss Charlotte or sensitive issues need to be submitted via email and texts won't be responded to for these issues.


All extra class bookings also need to be booked either via the ClassForKids app or email only. (Current classes will roll over to the next term so parents do not need to do anything unless they wish to add additional classes.


Monday - Friday 9.00- 5.00pm

Saturdays - 9.00 - 3.00pm

Sunday - closed


Emails/texts/phone calls will only be responded to within our working hours above.


Reminder about the Parents ClassForKids App

As a reminder that all parents have signed up to the ClassForKids app this is the platform we use when taking your monthly fees. To save you time writing emails, we just wanted to make you aware that parents can check their individual child's classes, class times, term dates and their individual payment plan through the app. You can also book additional classes or add to a class waiting list.
