Update from Miss Charlotte
Well the winter term is in full swing! Big welcome to all our new families who have joined DTA this term it has been lovely to see so many new faces, and I really hope you have enjoyed the school experience so far. Thank you to all parents who have made such an effort to make sure their children come to class with the correct uniform and hair style, it is greatly appreciated.
Halloween Dress up week
The week beginning 18th October students can wear fancy dress costumes to all classes if they wish. Please ensure students still wear all relevant dance shoes to class.
DTA Spook-tacular dance party events
EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT Halloween October Event afternoon Session
I am happy to announce I will be offering an early bird discount for our afternoon session £25 if you book before 16th October.
These events will include lots of games, dance, and Halloween themed activities perfect for your little horrors to keep them busy in the holiday.
These events will be open to DTA Academy students and children from outside the Academy.
Date- 29th October
Times and costs-
Children age 3 to reception age- 10.00-12.00pm - £12.50 per child
Children in School Year 1 upwards- 13.00-16.00pm - £25 per child (£30.00 after 16th Oct)
The Venue is Benhurst Primary school Hornchurch

Show permission forms
Please be reminded that all show forms need to be returned by 31st October. Please kindly let us know via email if you decide you do not want your child to take part so we can make a note for teachers to help with choreography. We are always happy to answer any questions regarding our shows so please let me know if you would like to schedule a call to discuss.
Facebook reviews and testimonials
It is always so helpful when parents share reviews on our social media platforms or send in testimonials for our website. If you can spare a few moments and wouldn't mind writing us a review we would greatly appreciate it. Reviews can be added to Facebook or testimonials sent via email for us to add to the website.
A reminder - Photography session 9th October 2021
I have invited a photographer in for the day to take some photos of our classes. These photos will be available for parents to view online and purchase if they wish. These photos will also be used for the school's website and social media platforms. If you do not want your child photographed please inform us via email. It is really important all students wear the correct uniform for each class and hair is tied back in the correct style for genre ie. ballet bun for ballet class. As a reminder of our terms and conditions parents need to inform us in writing if they do not wish their child to be posted on our website or social media pages.
Date for the diary- 18th December
We will be having our annual trophy giving ceremony on this date. Please keep this date free if you can I will send further details as soon as possible.
